Scott's is significantly faster! COURSE DESCRIPTION Same course as January 27, 2002. (Snoqualmie Valley trail). WEATHER -------------- -2 degrees C to +3 degrees C, partly cloudy DESCRIPTION ------------------ This was nearly a rerun of the January 27 event. There was a light dusting of snow which had fallen the previous night, making the trail somewhat reminiscent of the snow which fell during last month's run. Jim Kerby ran with Gene and Mark for the first 20 miles before dropping out as planned. His effort pushed them to a nearly identical time as the January run (only 11 seconds slower). However, the real story was a Yours Truly 50K personal best by Scott Krell, running over 36 minutes faster than a month ago. Scott went out to run at least 30 minutes faster and did a great job on another cold but relatively nice day. Good company and conversation were once again outstanding features of this friendly run.
